Ive had this same problem. Ive been using 4.5" perfered radial grinding flap disc. They are 12$ a peice and only last about 8 feet of weld if you really go at it hard, so i use them lighlty until slightly rounded corner is shaped the finish with an angled type flap disc holding it at the right angle so it contours to the shape.
